As a retired Communication Officer of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, since February 2018, I propose to bring to the younger generations of Africans a wealth of experience and know-how in communication and public information, as tools to apprehend and understand better today’s world and development matters.
36 years of career in Journalism, Communications and Media Relations and International Relations, have developed my skills and capacity in Corporate and Strategic Communication, Project Management (Certified Expert), Public Information, Media Production, Writing and Editing, Broadcast Media and Online Media.
Key partners in the strategic planning, development and implementation of communications campaigns on broad-reaching topical issues include UN agencies/African Bodies, member-countries, civil society and media networks.
Today, communication means develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to elicit support for and maximize the impact of shared objectives; and build networks of influential media and opinion leaders on the continent, for greater awareness-raising on poverty and hunger.
