African Youth SDGs Achievers Awards Invites Nominations.
In consultation with the coordination partners (Model African Union- Ethiopia), African Youth SDGs Summit Secretariat, Youth Advocates Ghana and Ako Foundation, we announce that nomination for the African Youth SDGs Achievers Awards is opened.
The African Youth SDGs Achievers Award is designed to identify and honor individuals and institutions whose efforts are promoting SDG innovation across different sectors towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This year, the awards will be held on December 3,2021 at the margins of the Africa Youth SDGs Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Due to the current world pandemic situation, the awards event will be hybrid (virtual and physical).
The awards categories would be as follow:
- African Youth SDGs Achiever- Male and Female,
- Leave no one behind award
- Private sector youth inclusive award,
- innovative start-up award,
- Youth agribusiness initiative award,
- Youth covid-19 hero award,
- SDG female leadership of the year,
- Clean water and sanitation award,
- Leader for clean energy award,
- Leader for job creation award,
- Industrial innovation of the year award,
- Leader for equality award
- Other special honorable awards.
